When Everything Works Well Together.

A quick post today on another Ryan Getzlaf autograph I snagged from eBay for a great price. For just $5.09 delivered, I picked up this beautiful on-card John Hancock from 2011-2012 UD SP Authentic.


This is pretty much the perfect card in my mind. A huge autograph that's hard-signed, Getz in the Captain's C, a big picture of the player, and a great design in general. Sign of the Times autographs have always been great, and I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Upper Deck so often makes some truly aesthetically-pleasing cards.

    I've always been a Topps guy... because of their history. But in terms of newer card designs (past 2 decades), they can't compete against Upper Deck.

    That is one helluva card... nice pickup @ an awesome price.

    And yeah, Upper Deck is great design-wise. Shame what they've become in many ways.
