A Pair of Totally Fabricated Wardrobe Relics: 2014 Cryptozoic Archer!

I made a huge dent into my remaining Archer needs with a large buy from one of the premier 2014 Cryptozoic Archer collectors out there. Kyle's been a tremendous guy since I met him on the Blowout forums, and he gave me an even more tremendous deal on the 9 cards he sent my way. Today I'll show off the pair of Totally Fabricated Wardrobe Relics I landed in the deal.

My scanner decided it had to be dirty, so thanks for that scanner. I chose not to scan the backs as not that many people check out these Archer posts. First up, Archer's Slightly Darker Black Tactleneck, as seen in many an episode including Season 1, Episode 2 (Training Day). I also have a sketch card which depicts this essential piece of spy wardrobe.

Next up, Lana's Knockoff Fiachi Lingerie from Season 1, Episode 7 (Skytanic). There's been a rumour (I went with the Canadian spelling, as Kyle is located in the Great White North) that Cryptozoic may have accidentally switched the material they used for these two cards, and after viewing them up close I must agree that there is a pretty damn good chance that did occur. Unless, you know, Archer's black tactleneck features a flowery pattern. Once again, I also have a sketch related to this garment.

  1. I'm not a huge fan of Archer, but I think I'm becoming a fan of the card set... Those "relics" are just too freakin' funny.

  2. I am not a big fan of manufactured relics in sports sets but when it comes to non-sports/comic sets I dig the idea. Cryptozoic did something similar with the DC Comics Women of Legend set.

  3. shlabotnik- Give the show another chance! It's tremendous. The set is so addictive haha.

Corky- I like how much fun Cryptozoic has with it. Be upfront and collectors will enjoy it.
