Topps Comes Through: Matt Kemp and Corey Seager Autos, Redeemed!

I received a very nice mailday from Topps a few months back with a couple of outstanding redemptions. I was very confident one would be returned but the other was up in the air for some time. Well, until Matt Kemp returned all of his redemptions, that is. Oh, what a happy day that was in the PTSIA household.

The Kemp is the Orange parallel out of 2013 Topps Tribute and is numbered 25/25. The redemption was acquired in a phenomenal trade with Jon from State of The Hobby. It is another most welcome addition to the Mattycakes' PC.

Corey Seager! His autos have skyrocketed after his tremendous 2014 campaign split between High-A and Double-A. Like the Kemp, the redemption was had in a great, great trade with Sam of The Daily Dimwit fame (come back Sam!). It's another Orange parallel -- #'d 03/50 -- and hails from 2013 Bowman Inception.

Kudos to Topps on shipping these out securely, even going so far as to penny sleeve each card before placing it in the properly-sized toploader and taping it shut. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I can't say every company has always done so.

  2. It is always exciting to receive a redemption card back. I have several Topps and Panini cards I'm waiting for. Some I'm been waiting over two years for.

That Seager is a really nice card.
