A Question For The Baseball and Stat-Loving World

Am I the only one who finds it both amusing and sad that Harold Reynolds is co-hosting a special on the MLB Network about baseball and statistics?

The same Harold Reynolds who has a career OBP of .327 (frankly, I'm shocked it's above .300) and an OPS+ of 83.

The same Harold Reynolds who wrote this monstrosity of a blog post on baseball stats, that of course included the mandatory "clogging the bases" statement that people who know nothing about baseball think about players who draw a lot of walks.

In honor of old Harold, this post will go up at the time corresponding to his on-base percentage.

Have some fun and read the Harold Reynolds archives over at Fire Joe Morgan.
