Today's post features a card that's been high on my radar and high on my needs list for nearly a year. Until this copy popped up on eBay I had not even come across a single one in my time searching. I was prepared to throw down serious coin on it but it ended up being affordable when all of the bidding was said and done. After much waiting here's the 16th of 20 cards needed to complete a PSA 8 run of the
1972 Icee Bear Basketball Set.
Hall of Famer John Havlicek is the new addition and this PSA 8 cost me less than a PSA 7 sold for a couple of months back. eBay was even running a promotion so I saved a little bit on top of the success in simply locating and securing a copy. Johnny brings me to 80% completion. The finish line is near.

ReplyDeleteNice find. Gotta love it when you're able to snag a higher grade copy of a card for less money than what a lower grade copy usually sells for.
