Jackie Robinson Pickup: 1950-56 J.J.K. Copyart Postcard (Blank Back Edition)

If he wasn't a budget breaker I would collect playing-era Jackie Robinson stuff all the damn time. As a Dodgers' fan, a baseball fan, and a UCLA graduate.....Jackie checks all of the boxes to fit into my collecting habits. You know, beyond the obvious fact that every collection should have multiple Jackie Robinsons in it because he is JACKIE ROOSEVELT ROBINSON!

Today's pickup is one I've had for ages. It was purchased raw on eBay and sent off to PSA. It's a well-known and often used pose but it's a different release so I can say hey, here's a new Jackie! I really love the image and everything about it. Any playing-era Jackie is a welcome sight and though there will be many I never acquire, each and every one that I do will be cherished.
