Jose Offerman In Search Of A New Country In Which To Beat People During Baseball Games

Offerman has been banned for life from the Dominican League.

Jose Offerman is a bad man.

Offerman, who played for the Dodgers between 1990 and 1995 and also enjoys swinging bats at the heads of other players, has popped in once again, this time with a new passion: punching umpires.

Roberto over at Vin Scully Is My Homeboy has all the info you'll need, and his story was linked to over at Big League Stew, Yahoo's MLB blog, which also reported on Offerman's Mike Tyson-like turn in a Dominican League game.

On a side note, it's great to see Roberto back after a stay in the hospital.
