Work-Related Goodies (PSA 10s To Boot)

A big shout-out to one of my favorite customers, Davey, who passed along some awesome Dodgers' cardboard as a token of his gratitude for my assistance at work. It was not necessary but it is always and much appreciated!

Kershawwwwww! A beautiful PSA 10 encasing this newest addition to my Kid K Collection. This is the first 10 of any kind that found its way into my collections.

You can never have enough Corey Seager rookies (or cards in general).

Some vintage goodness! The '61 Alston is particularly near-minty.

Three more new Kersh cards for the collection.

Finally, another PSA 10 with this Kenta Maeda RC. Davey has an eye for nabbing PSA 10s when he submits. I'm consistently and eternally impressed.

Thanks a bunch Davey! You're a mensch!

A Masterful Masterpiece of Chad Billingsley.

I'm a HUGE Chad Billingsley fan, and though he's perhaps the most polarizing Dodger of the last decade this side of Jonathan Broxton - I leave out Juan Pierre because the love for him was insane to begin with - I don't judge him on body language or any garbage like that. His stats speak for themselves, and he's been a very good pitcher over his LA career, and one of the most underrated Dodgers in recent memory.

His 2008 UD Masterpieces Stroke of Genius on-card auto has been on my must have list for some time, and I was finally able to land one for a great price - six clams delivered - after an eBayer accepted a Best Offer I submitted. Masterpieces is a product you can't not love, and I'm always happy to add a Bills' auto to my PC.

With a career 3.66 FIP, almost 8 Ks per game, and two seasons of ~4.5 fWAR (his 2012 was on the way to eclipsing 4 fWAR before his elbow gave out), I for one am always happy to watch Chad toe the rubber. A bobblehead of the Defiance, Ohio righty is long overdue, and hopefully his rehab continues to progress smoothly and he can avoid Tommy John surgery.

Trade With Play At The Plate: Clayton Kershaw - All-Star. American. Pie.

I completed my second trade with Brian from Play At The Plate. He pulled a relic of my favorite pitcher, and I had to inquire as to its availability. He was gracious enough to send it my way, even though I have - as of yet - no idea what to send in return.

I really like these Topps Update All-Star Game Relics. Of course, it's Kid K, so I would like it regardless of what it was. Brian also knocked off a team set need (2001 Topps American Pie, help a brother out if you can, I'm down to needing just four) and sent along a couple of much appreciated extras.

Thanks for the awesome trade Brian!
