Dodgers Sign Pair

Timo Perez and John Koronka, both signed to minor league deals. Both gentlemen also receive invites to Spring Training.

Perez, 35 in April, has played for the Mets, the White Sox, St. Louis, and Detroit over parts of 8 seasons, never appearing in more than 136 games. He has amassed 1825 plate appearances over that time, putting up a comforting .308 OBP and .382 SLG %. Perez has seen time at all three OF positions, plus 2 games at first base.


Koronka, 30 in July, has pitched for the Cubs, Texas, and Florida over 4 seasons. The lefty has appeared in 31 games over that time, with a 1.269 WHIP. He has struck out a measly 4.4/9 IP over that time while walking 3.8/9 IP. He has a 5.44 career FIP.
