1972 Icee Bear Project -- # 13: Sidney Wicks, Slabbed A PSA 8

Here's another piece of the large 1972 Icee Bear lot I bought from eBay recently. For $7.50 I was able to add a really interesting and accomplished player to the project, one who attended the junior college (Santa Monica College) and 4-year college (UCLA) that I also attended, which is a cool cherry on top of the pickup.

Sidney Wicks -- the second pick in the '71 Draft behind Icee SP Austin Carr -- was Rookie of The Year in 1971-72 after averaging 24.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in his first campaign. The LA native won three National Titles in Westwood and had his jersey retired by the Bruins.
