Trade With Cardboard Conundrum: Hamels, Lincecum, Braun, Ethier, '60s Goodness

I completed my second trade with Matt from Cardboard Conundrum, whose previous blog name was Cardboard Overload. This time around, I sent him a number of things: some Heritage, a pair of 1959 Topps Cubs, a Mike Bacsik auto, and a number of relics, from Grant Fuhr to Pee Wee Reese. Matt already posted his end of the deal here.

In return, I picked up a great package of cards.

I don't often remember specific games unless they hold huge significance. Though my fellow Dodger fans and bloggers will probably finds this outrageous and traitorous, I distinctly remember watching all of Tim Lincecum's debut outing. It was a late afternoon game if I recall, and I was firmly planted in front of the television not only because I was excited to see Lincecum, but because his opposite number that day was Cole Hamels, my favorite non-Dodger pitcher.

I do believe it's Hammer Time. Hebrew Hammer Time, that is.

And now we turn to the vintage portion of this recap.

And finally, this WalMart exclusive:

Thanks for another great trade Matt, I'm sure we'll complete another one in no time.
