Eric Karros and a couple of other former Dodgers are on the 2010 Hall Of Fame ballot.
None of them should make the HOF. When the only way to describe a player is "solid", the argument ends there.
Solid or pretty good players are not Hall Of Famers - great players are Hall Of Famers. Sometimes the Baseball Writers' Association Of America, which votes on the candidates, forgets that.
