Good job (again) Ned (is there and echo?).
The team has plenty, plenty of options for the 4th and 5th rotation spots, and we don't need to give up players on the Major League roster, prospects, cash, or any combination of the three to acquire a guy on the downside of his career.
Amen. Harang was done in 2008 never mind 2010.
ReplyDeleteHe could have a few decent seasons left in him, but not at that price tag, plus the prospects that Ned would almost certainly give up.
ReplyDeleteAdd in the fact that Harang would then be blocking our young pitchers, and there's no upside to this deal in my opinion.
