Jerry Sands Is Gone But Not Forgotten.

While Jerry Sands has been gone for quite some time, I still have a few saved searches on eBay for hits of his. One recently popped out of 2011 Topps Update and I couldn't pass on it for a few bucks more than half a blaster.


This 1/1 Black Rookie Printing Plate is a swell addition to my Sands Collection.

    I was really pulling hard for Jerry Sands to make it.... He was from a college, Catawba College, that was really close to where I lived at the time and his being drafted by the Dodgers was even worth of a paragraph in the Charlotte Observer
