Reflecting Back on Russ Martin's Future, Plus A Play at the Plate Topps Contest.

The usual caveat of "Russell Martin cards always have great photos" once again applies with today's featured pieces of cardboard from 2005 Upper Deck Reflections. Both hail from the Future Reflections subset and are colorful and numbered parallels of Russell's base card.

I had to slightly overpay and shell out a little bit more than I would have liked to ($4 delivered) but these cards don't show up too often and almost certainly would have run me more in a card show setting or via COMC or some other internet cardboard outlet. Impulse purchases, you rascally devils you. The Emerald parallel is numbered 20/25 and the Turquoise is #'d 45/50.
