Let's end the month with my first Cy Young card! I like having one card of all of the major HOFers and the pitching legend was a noticeable absence from my collection of vintage cardboard. eBay, as it so often does, came through and I was able to snag this absolute beauty:
Any T206 of Denton True Young would be a welcome acquisition, but this one is extra special as it has a quality I much admire within a card from The Monster. I saw this pop up and saw that gorgeous double-name and just knew I needed to make a real run at landing it. The big borders are a nice cherry on top of this SGC 10 Bare Hand Shows cake.
Of the many accomplishments Cy can lay claim to, I like that he also hit 18 homers during his illustrious career.
