Let's start the week off with another addition to my Ticket Collection. I've been targeting as many LeBron James full tickets and stubs as I can get my hands on, especially from his rookie campaign. They were surprisingly affordable for a while and you can still occasionally get a good deal, but they have certainly risen in price as I believe they should have much earlier.
Here's a beautiful stub from a great rookie game of The King's. LBJ put up 32 points, 6 boards, 10 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in a December '03 victory over the rival Bulls in Chicago. The stub is a presentable PSA 3 and features Scottie Pippen on the front and a Pepsi advert on the reverse.
Season Ticket stock has some pretty cool advertisements from the earlier 2000s, and the move to digital tickets will sadly see the end of that nice touch to something that has become quite collectible.
