What Pleasant Penmanship You Have, Ryan Getzlaf.

I love me some on-card autos, though I've never had a problem with adding a sticker auto to my collection. I won't bore you with the reasons why on-card signatures are superior, but instead will showcase a new one today.

Numbered 071/100, it's a fantastic hard-signed John Hancock of Ryan Getzlaf that I've been eying for many, many months. There's nothing to dislike about the card, which comes from the Penmanship subset of 2008-2009 Upper Deck O-Pee-Chee. The auto is big and on the card, it's short-printed, and the elegant design generally-speaking is extremely aesthetically-appealing. For just under seven and a half clams delivered, it's a card I'm thrilled to finally call my own.

  1. It's a great looking card and it's nice that he used the full space for his signature

Matt- Indeed, and thankfully Getz has a large signature to begin with.
