“I was just trying to make sure he didn’t take it out of his glove or show me the ball,” Kemp said. “I probably would have gone crazy. I would have flipped. You all would have seen a side of me you’ve never seen before."
"That's probably the hardest ball I've hit in a little while," Kemp told Prime Ticket after the game. "If he had caught it, I probably would have had some words for him in batting practice tomorrow."
