Way back in December, I pulled a serial numbered Darin Erstad jersey relic from one of those "value packs" that Target sells. You know the ones - they guarantee a jersey card and throw in 3 random packs - all for the low, low price of $9.99.
Not that great of a value, in actuality. The Erstad had been residing on my Trade Bait page ever since.
Well, after seeing the only Angels collector on Blogger I know of - Tom from The Angels, In Order - put up some bait of his own, I decided it was time to send the Erstad to someone who would better appreciate it. In exchange, I picked out a John Smoltz relic, as there were no Dodgers or non-Dodgers I collect to be found.
Smoltz seemed the obvious choice, as he's a future Hall of Famer and seems like a pretty cool dude in general. Plus, I really like Goudey and the mini-ness of this relic.
Thanks for the trade Tom!
Maybe it's just the picture, but is that stitching on the jersey near the top? If do, that's cool!
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, there is indeed some stitching!
ReplyDeleteWhich is, as you said, always cool.
