Campy, Kershaw, Piazza, and A Bison Birthday

Hooray for cheap pickups, because cool cards at a beyond reasonable price is what collecting is all about. First up, a sick and low serial-numbered (35/50) insert from 2004 Donruss Elite, which just so happens to feature the two greatest catchers in Dodgers' history, and two of the greatest Dodgers period.

And now, the flip side.

Passing The Torch indeed. Moving on, another Campy serial-numbered piece of awesome, from 2003 Fleer. An insert set called Pennant Aggression, and it's #'d 1252/1953. The die-cut design is fantastically wonderful.

For a buck ninety-nine with free shipping, it was an easy decision.

Finally, I picked up three of these Clayton Kershaw 2008 Topps Finest Rookie Redemption RCs. It books for $12 and is on COMC for 15 bucks. The three I picked up cost me three bucks, as the only bidder, with free shipping. A new Kershaw. Always makes for a good day.

I'm keeping two, and the third is reserved for Night Owl, if he needs it. Which, if I read his Kershaw Haves List correctly - and I haven't in the past - he does. Let me know fellow Greg!

I said finally earlier. I lied.

But only because I was ready to call this post over when I remembered there was one more card I wanted to show.

Fin.

Wait, one more thing. Happy Birthday to my favorite player, Matt Kemp, who turns 27 today!

Nice cards. I'll have to pick up that Campy pennant card.
