Why So Orange, Russell Martin? Canada's Cold Got Ya Down?

Short-printed and colored parallels are some of my favorite cards, especially when combined with a card that is already chromed out. They're not always cheap, but when they can be had for a great deal, they make for some of the most enjoyable pickups and maildays. Luckily, Russell Martin is an affordable player to (super)collect.

From 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft comes this sweeeeet orange parallel /25, which I snagged for 99 cents plus shipping ($3.49 delivered). There's actually a copy on COMC for three bucks, but I'm more than happy to have it in-hand for a paltry forty-nine cents more.

Numbered 06/25, it's my newest Martin as I near the 200 unique card mark. I miss Russ....

  1. 06/25 is my birthday. That's it! I'm going to start collecting cards serial numbered 06/25!

    Sounds expensive...
