Devante Smith-Pelly is one of my favorite Ducks, and a nice young player to put around the excellent core the team has built. He's BIG, hits, skates pretty well, and has a nice shot combined with the ability and willingness to go to the front of the net. He can also contribute to both the power play and penalty kill units.

I was fortunate to snag this snazzy and zazzy on-card auto of the soon-to-be twenty-year-old winger. The blue auto works fantastically well with the blue border, and a great action shot of Devo is icing on the cake. The card features one mistake on Panini's part, as they list Smith-Pelly as a left-handed shooter, when he actually shoots right-handed. For four clams and some pocket change via eBay, it was an easy plunge to take.
