Is there a card your collection simply could not go without?
The above certainly fits the bill for me. Pretty sure a copy once went for about thirty bucks. I still regret missing out on it to this day. One day. One day. Oh, and FanFest was insane; I'll have an actual recap up with a few pictures once my wrist heals, so late May/early June.
I've got several dream cards.
ReplyDeleteLately I've been chasing a bunch of vintage so clearly a Clemente rookie in really nice condition would be a dream card.
A dual auto of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin would be a dream card.
Recently though there was a 2012 Topps Museum Andrew McCutchen auto with a patch of the Pirates logoman that I let slip away from me that I would have loved to add to my collection. That card was f-ing sick!
Off the top of my head... a 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson RC. It took me over 35 years to get his 1956 Topps card. It'll probably take another 35 for me to add his rookie card.
ReplyDelete1986 Topps Nolan Ryan rookie card. I held one in my hand back in 1988. It was $200 and I didn't pull the trigger. Dumb.
