I recently
won a contest from the boys over at
Community Gum. Andy and Jon
held a contest revolving around the NBA Finals, with entrants asked to predict who would win it all, the combined score from the final game, and who would be selected as Finals' MVP. I'm happy to have won, but what I'm most proud of is that my prediction of the Heat and LeBron as Finals' MVP came with the Celtics holding a 3-2 series lead over Miami heading into a
closeout Game 6 in Boston.
And we all know what transpired after that. The above card found its way to me, and I appreciate Andy and Jon holding the contest and sending me a sweet prize. The card would certainly fit better in the collection of a Cavs' or Ferry fan, so it's available. If you're interested, drop me a comment. And of course, this post wouldn't be complete without thanking the man who made it all possible.
To start: I hate Duke, I hate Danny Ferry. To End: I still don't like Danny Ferry but he got somebody to take Joe Johnson and now I can watch the Hawks again. Nothing personal against Joe Johnson but he is the lead example of how bad the Hawks management was.
