How Many Hits Of Your Favorite Player Have You Pulled?

Just one for me in the Matt Kemp department. Way back in 2010 I pulled this beaut from my first box of Allen & Ginter.


It's still one of my favorite cards. So, I ask you, how many hits of your favorite player have you personally pulled?

    1 Carlos Delgado (UDX Jersey, so hardly a "hit.")

    1 Ken Griffey Jr (2007 Ultra Swing Kings jersey, inspiration for the blog name "Plain Gray Swatch.")

    1 Drew Hutchison (2012 Pro Debut Autograph, three days after buying one on ebay.)

    I pulled just one myself. A Sidney Crosby prime jersey /25 from 2011-12 Panini Limited.

    If group breaks count, then I also pulled a Crosby auto /5 from a 2011-12 Panini Prime case break.

    I pulled a George Brett autograph redemption out of, I think, Topps Finest. The problem was it expired about 3 years before I bought the box!

    Well, I've never pulled David Wright or Scott Sizemore, but I have pulled some of my other guys. I've pulled Justin Upton, BJ Upton, and Justin Verlander relics before. I pulled a Verlander Sweet Spot auto a few years ago, but it was technically before I collected him.

    Of Wright, I've gotten pretty lucky and pulled 3 jersey cards!

    Piazza, I've never pulled any jerseys of his. Even a tougher insert of #'d parallel I don't think I've ever pulled of him.

    I should also note I've never pulled a hit of Kershaw, Russ Martin, or Ryan Getzlaf.

    My favorite player is Gary Carter. While I have pulled a few things of his, my favorite pull was from the 2001 UD Legends of NY set. I nabbed an autographed bat card.

    i once bought a box of topps fan favorites (one auto per box) back in the early 2000's and pulled a garvey autograph. that was pretty sweet.

    One of my favorite basketball player (Kareem) - an auto from 2001 Fleer GOTG. None of my favorite baseball player (Garvey) or football player (Bo).
