You show me a piece of cardboard with both Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw on it and I'll show you somebody who's massively in need of said card. If you produce such a card in a vintage-themed set, I'll jump through hoops to get my hands on it.
Which is what I was willing to do to acquire the above beauty. Hailing from 2013 Gypsy Queen, it pairs the Dodgers' two best players on a short-printed photo variation of Kemp's '13 GQ base card. These SPs can go for decent cash but I waited long enough that I was able to snag this copy for under half a blaster.
Greg, forgot to ask... but what's a blaster?
ReplyDeleteGetting so far removed from modern cards that I see more and more cards I had no clue existed.
ReplyDeleteNice..
ReplyDeleteI think I need to add that to my collection as well.
Austin- A smaller box of cards sold via retail for 20 bucks. Some guarantee a hit, most don't. 8 packs usually. Here's an example:

Night Owl- Haha, but it's one you must own!
Penguin- Thanks! And yes, yes you do.
