Congrats Alexander Ovechkin!
One of my favorite non-Ducks (despite the fact that he kills us basically every time we play, and we don't play the Caps very often to begin with) has finally won the Cup. He had a great playoffs and I'm thrilled to see him get to raise Lord Stanley and not get shit on by people.

What a thrilling series, eh? There is no other player in the league who deserved a cup more than Ovi. On another note, Washington's celebration is so incredible it embarrasses me as a SoCal hockey fan. I wish our fan-bases (Kings and Ducks) was anywhere near that large and fanatical.
ReplyDeleteThe Ducks' fan base disappoints me every single game I watch on TV. Also, realized I never messaged you back about the Greenberg. If you still have it, great I would still love it, but if you moved it no worries.
DeletePretty exciting to see him finally raise the Cup. I don't have a lot of his cards... but I finally picked up his autograph a few months ago.
