A short while later this arrived and to my amazement it was not showing up with anything needing to go in the other direction. My buddy's dealer friend and one of our other coworkers had chipped in to buy it off of his customer and send it to me simply because they knew I would cherish it. And cherish it, I most certainly do!
Ghost City out of the 1951 Red Menace set is so striking when you first see it and more so once you read the back. It's an artist's take on what a city in the US would look like if struck by an atom bomb launched by the Russians, complete with "Children's Crusade Against Communism" sprawled across the back.
It's slabbed a 2 due to paper loss on the reverse and is a welcome addition.
