Mike Piazza relics from his time as a Dodger -- and yes, I'm willing to believe companies that they are legit pieces of game-used mem -- are few and far between, and one stood out to me as better than the rest. It took a long, long time to acquire it, but in the end I was able to snag it for the paltry sum of $6.12 delivered.
Numbered 24/50, this phenomenal dual relic out of the Crowning Moment subset of 2004 Donruss Diamond Kings features a piece of Piazza's bat and a jersey swatch to boot. The design is tremendous, the portrait of Mike in a John Olerud-esque catcher's helmet is awesome, the near Fu Manchu is a necessity, and that beautiful "LA" wraps it all up in a nice bow. Ah, childhood memories.
Sweet pickup man. That's a beautiful card.
