I completed my third trade with Judson from My Cardboard Habit. You can see the first here and second here. Judson pulled a card from a box of 2016 Topps that I just had to have and we were able to work out a quick and easy swap that saw a stack of Rangers head his way.
I'll start with the card that I asked about after proposing the trade. It's not what caught my attention but I knew Judson might have pulled it and if so I wanted it. Behold, Corey Seager's official Topps rookie! Which again, considering how many cards he already has and how many he has manufactured by Topps, just serves to further cloud the hobby. But hey, I did want it. So I'm contributing to the "rookie" lunacy. It's so pretty though!
Here's the card that begun the entire transaction: a 2016 Topps framed parallel, numbered 03/16, of Russell Martin! The card is super super thick which surprised me, but as always Russ never takes a bad picture for the cardboard he's featured on. It's my first parallel of the base card I already own.
Thanks for the awesome trade Judson!
That is one great box that he opened as I get my own card/trade (and another that wasnt from box) from him as well. Should be here any day now. Judson taking care of the LA Bloggers.
