Today's newest addition to the Zack Wheat Collection isn't the most aesthetically-pleasing piece of cardboard but was a modest hit on the wallet and priced fairly based on past VCP sales. It was purchased from an eBay seller who has a reputation as a less than sane individual, but it was a smooth transaction. I did originally offer on the card only to be rejected....shortly after not selling, it was re-listed for less than my original offer. I was the sole bidder, so the seller ended up costing himself a couple of bucks.
This hand-cut strip card hails from the 1920 W520 set and has been slabbed as Authentic by the folks at PSA. Wheat actually has two cards in the W520 set.

ReplyDeleteIt's so satisfying when you send a seller a reasonable offer, they reject it, eventually relist the item, and you win it for less than your reasonable offer. Congratulations!
